we can discuss and encourage one another in our endeavors while we are learning to eat right to thrive.
I have been married for 32 years. I have raised eight healthy children and probably because of that fact right there,
nutrition has always been one of my passions. One of my favorite books "Food is Your Best Medicine" by Henry G. Bieler, M.D.
teaches that if we eat correctly, foods will sustain us and correct any health issues we might have. It was important to me that my
children grew up thriving. I felt food was a much cheaper alternative to healthcare and I can say 28 years later that it has been a true
statement. I have never had to take any of our children to the doctors for any health issues. They are all healthy and thriving because
food is natural medicine when we eat the way that God intended for us to eat.
I really don't think that eating has to be so scientific. Let commonsense be your guide. If you don't understand
something - look it up. Try to keep your food choices as natural as possible. When man takes natural foods and applies his "voodoo"
to them they usually end up being damaging to your health. Stay away from foods that have been adulterated. There are
MANY foods that need to be a treat--not a way of life. Start thinking differently about your choices. To change your
eating habits you have to start by changing your attitudes, the way you think about food and your selection of those foods.
Knowledge brings understanding, then wisdom, to change your world for the better - starting
