Italian Casserole

Add 1-16 ounce frozen vegetables of your choice (green
beans sound good) and you will have an Italian one-dish meal.

1- 1/2 lbs
|
|
ground beef
|
|
|
1 cup
|
|
onion, chopped
|
|
|
1

|
32-ounce jar spaghetti
sauce
|
|
|
1/3 cup
|
|
water
|
|
|
1- 1/2 tsp
|
|
salt
|
|
|
1 tsp
|
|
basil
|
|
|
1 tsp
|
|
oregano
|
|
|
1 tsp
|
|
sugar
|
|
|
1/4 tsp
|
|
pepper
|
|
|

medium potatoes, thinly
sliced
|
|
|

8-ounce package shredded Mozzarella
cheese
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Cook meat and onions until tender. Add sauce, water
and seasonings. Cook 2 minutes. Layer in baking dish; add meat mixture and potatoes, ending with meat. Cover
with foil. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour. Remove foil. Sprinkle with cheese and bake 10 minutes
longer.
