Kid's Breakfast Recipes
Kids need to start their day out with breakfast. Nutritious food keeps them going and on a much more even keel throughout the day.
If you want them to be able to focus, study, and learn then make sure they're getting the nutrition they need. Eating breakfast
doesn't have to be in a traditional since either. A lot of kids are willing to eat breakfast if they can have their favorites which is
usually what we adults see as lunch or dinner foods.
Basically our children need the four basic food groups: Dairy, Protein, Fruits and Vegetables and Whole grains. If they're getting a
variety of different quality foods then their nutrient needs are most likely being met. That said, if they want a peanut butter and jelly
or banana sandwich for breakfast -- why not? A peanut butter and banana sandwich served on whole wheat bread and a small glass of
milk is meeting the food group requirements and that is the point, right?
So...........Check out the kids lunch and snack recipes sections. I'm sure you'll find plenty of food ideas that your kids will be
more than happy to gobble down!
