Western Style Hot Dogs

You could serve this with sliced cucumber and tomatoes.

frozen hash brown potatoes
|
|
|
1 cube

|
butter or margarine
|
|
|
1 teaspoon
|
|
salt
|

1/2

small onion, chopped,
optional
|

eggs, beaten

hot dogs
|

1/2 cup

Cheddar cheese, shredded

In a large skillet or electric frying pan, melt
margarine. Add potatoes, onion and salt. Cover and cook over low heat for 15 minutes, stirring
occasionally.

Pour eggs over potatoes and arrange hot dogs (which
have been halved lengthwise) on top. Cook over low heat for 15 minutes more, or until eggs are set. Sprinkle
cheese on top. Cover and heat until cheese is melted. Serve with applesauce.
